Hope for a Better Future (H4BF) is dedicated to driving innovation from the ground up, improving health, ending hunger, overcoming hardship, and empowering youth, women, and girls. Through sustainable development programs, community engagement, and partnerships, we aim to uplift marginalized populations, foster economic empowerment, and create positive, lasting change in vulnerable communities.
Melvis Nchangwi, the Communication and Advocacy Assistant at H4BF. Melvis is a passionate Journalist from Eden Print Media and a former HerVoice advocate with Common Action for Gender Development. She is deeply committed to upholding the sexual and reproductive health rights of adolescent girls and young women.
Melvis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Development Studies and believes that through effective communication and a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals, she can contribute to creating a better future. Her professional journey also includes an internship in 2023 with the North West Development Authority (MIDENO), where she further honed her skills in development communication.
In addition to her work in communication, Melvis is an advocate for culture promotion in the Bambili community and is the producer of an entertainment program, “Culture Trend,” on the UBa Campus radio.
At H4BF, Awa is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively share the organization’s work with the public. She also advocates for key causes, including women’s empowerment and sustainable development.
