    Location: Bamenda, North West Region

    About the role:

    The Human Resource Officer will play a key role in all aspects of our employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our HR practices are aligned with our organizational values and mission.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Recruit, screen, and hire qualified candidates
    • Onboard new employees
    • Manage employee benefits and compensation
    • Conduct performance reviews
    • Address employee relations issues
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws
    • Develop and implement training and development programs
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resource role
    • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience working in a non-profit or NGO environment is a plus
    • Fluency in English and French is required
