We believe that powering communities means more than just bringing electricity—it’s about unlocking potential, enabling self-reliance, and preparing young people to lead in a sustainable future. That’s why we’re proud to announce the successful completion of our One-Month Solar Energy Crash Course, held at the H4BF Vocational Training Institute (HOBEFI) in Bamenda, Cameroon.
Over the course of four intensive, hands-on weeks, a dynamic group of youth from diverse backgrounds completed a transformative journey into the world of renewable energy—equipping themselves not only with technical skills, but with the entrepreneurial mindset to drive change.

💡 What They Learned
The crash course covered four core modules, each designed to build both competence and confidence:
🔹 Power Sizing & Energy Needs Assessment
🔹 Solar Panel Installation & Site Selection
🔹 Material Testing & Quality Assurance
🔹 Troubleshooting & Maintenance

To complement the technical training, participants also took part in an entrepreneurship session on the Business Model Canvas, led by H4BF Executive Director Mr. Ngo Abdulai. This helped learners explore how solar solutions can power both homes and sustainable businesses.

🎓 The Impact
At the end of the program, participants were awarded Certificates of Completion, symbolizing not only their new knowledge but their commitment to Cameroon’s clean energy future.
