    About the role:

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL) Officer to join our team. The MEAL Officer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating H4BF’s programs and initiatives.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system for H4BF’s programs and projects.
    • Design and conduct data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
    • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness and impact of H4BF’s interventions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on program performance for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain a MEAL database.
    • Provide technical support to other H4BF staff on MEAL-related issues.
    • Stay abreast of current best practices in MEAL and apply them to H4BF’s work.
    • Contribute to the development of H4BF’s strategic plan and fundraising efforts.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in MEAL, preferably in the international development sector.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • Experience with MEAL software and tools.
    • Fluency in English
    • Strong commitment to H4BF’s mission and values.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to travel to project sites in Cameroon.
