    H4BF joins the International Community to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This year’s celebration is under theme: Promoting the Participating of Persons with Disabilities and their Leadership: Taking Action on the 2030 Development Agenda.

    Proclaimed since 1992, this day is aimed at promoting rights and well-being of Persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of these persons, in every aspects of political, social, economic and cultural life.

    H4BF has over the years strategically developed policy of inclusion throughout all it’s programmes taking into special consideration people of special needs. This has emphatically colluded with the UN central promise of leaving no one behind by 2030.

    H4BF this year focuses on the empowerment of persons with disabilities in retrospect with the UN policies, for inclusive – equitable and sustainable development as anticipated in the 2030 Agenda to ” leave no one behind” as well recognizing disability as cross cutting issue to be addressed and considered in the implementation of all H4BF programmes.
